  5. Description:
  6. This program is designed to teach children
  7. in grades K-2 to use a mouse while at the
  8. same time teaching them math concepts.
  9. Children use the mouse to position color
  10. math rod manipulatives as directed by
  11. their teacher.  The teacher calls out a
  12. number and the students build stacks of
  13. rods that are of equal value.  Students
  14. discover that one 10 rod is equal to two
  15. 5 rods is equal to five 2 rods and so on.

  18. Color Macintosh LC or better running on
  19. System 7.

  21. Program Notes:
  22. The demonstration version is fully functional.
  23. However, the demo has a limited number of
  24. on-screen manipulatives and a limited number
